I’m a little annoyed at how all of a sudden Mako can bend lightning
because I don’t put him nearly at the same level of Iroh and Azula.
I’m also having a very difficult time liking any of the characters,
besides Tenzin and Lin. -________- It just seems unlikely that any
of them went through the same amount of training as benders used
to have to go through.
I’m trying not to hate it too much and compare it to the other show,
but these things just seem so forced.
I understand O.o i was questioning the same thing; my thought on it though is after Zuko learned the truth of fire-bending in the first Avatar series, fire-benders didn’t rely on emotion anymore like they use to. so it was a matter of personal power and skill if they could bend lightning. Only way i can think to explain how out of no were there is this large sum of lightning and metal benders from a series in which both were extremely rare.
